As a fellow in the Foreign Affairs Information Technology Fellowship 2023 cohort, Maisha is pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Information Technology at Pace University. After her first summer internship as a FAIT Fellow, Maisha talks about what inspired her to apply for the FAIT Fellowship and gives advice for those thinking about applying, particularly if they don’t have a tech background. She talks about the opportunities she received from her internship at the U.S. Department of State and shares how the FAIT Fellowship has affected her life.
