Born and raised in Chicago, Illinois, Makenna is currently pursuing her bachelor’s degree and studying computer science. She plans on working in the technology industry her entire life and hopes to someday have a career in software engineering or web development.

Courtney is pursuing his master’s degree in Information Technology. He has worked for the U.S. Embassy in Tbilisi, Georgia as an Information Management Professional Associate for the past three years. Previously, he was enlisted in the U.S. Marine Corps as an Aviation Operation Specialist and also served as a Marine Security Guard. He received an honorable discharge in 2015.

Born in Las Vegas, Nevada to two Nigerian immigrants, Yolanda is both a first-generation American and first-generation college student. She’s currently pursuing her bachelor’s degree in International Relations with a minor in Computer Science. She aspires to become a U.S. Ambassador one day.

Daniel is pursuing a master’s degree in Enterprise Data Systems at Syracuse University, and he holds a bachelor’s degree in Information Management and Technology. He received training as a Network and Systems Administration in the United States Marine Corp, and was honorably discharged in 2013.

Shaki, born in Dhaka, Bangladesh and raised in New York City, entered the FAIT Fellowship program as he started his master’s degree in security studies with a concentration in cybersecurity and information technology at Pace University. He successfully completed the Fellowship and is now a Foreign Service Information Management Specialist.
