For college students who aspire to a technology career that makes a difference in the world, the Foreign Affairs Information Technology (FAIT) Fellowship, funded by the U.S. Department of State, is an opportunity of a lifetime.
The FAIT Fellowship offers both undergraduate and graduate fellowships, providing up to $87,000 in academic funding over two years, summer internships with stipends, professional development, and mentorship. When you’ve completed the two-year fellowship program while earning your degree, and you’ve met the Foreign Service entry requirements, you receive an appointment as a Foreign Service Information Management Specialist.
Before you begin your application for the FAIT Fellowship 2023 cohort, join us for a one-hour webinar co-presented by the Department of State and The Washington Center (TWC).
Patricia Boerner, Department of State, and Chelsey Jones, TWC, will provide an overview of the FAIT Fellowship program, eligibility requirements and benefits. Plus, they will walk you through the online application and provide tips to ensure a smooth process.
This webinar is valuable for any individual planning to apply and for college/university advisors and faculty who want to assist their students in applying.
